Day 1- April 12, 2021

I am starting the Master Cleanse today, or actually, I kind of started it yesterday with a saltwater flush and ending with a senna tea. I ate normally throughout the day yesterday, so I didn’t do any pre-cleanse.

Today, I took the saltwater flush in between 5–6 am and I had to eliminate pretty soon after, like within minutes. It’s now 7 am and I don’t really have anything to do today except to pick up my supplies from Whole Foods. I used Amazon’s pick-up order system. Hopefully they have everything I need because I don’t really feel like going into any stores.

I’ve been weighing myself for the past couple of days and I’ve been ranging from 146–153 pounds depending on the time of day, my intention is to be firmly in the 130s by the end of the cleanse. That means no matter what time of day it is, at the end of this, I want to be in the 130-pound weight range. That’s when I look and feel the best, when my stomach is the flattest and when I feel the best slim fine/slim thick version of myself.

My waist is 27" and my hips are at 41". I don’t know what size clothes I wear since I haven’t worn real clothes since early 2020. I just know that I can’t fit my normal Size 2 pants and I’d very much like to be able to get into a Size 2 again. I think I could get down to a 24" waist as my ultimate goal, but really I just want to disappear this weird pouch of fat I’ve developed in my lower abdomenal area during quarantine. I’m probably at the heaviest I’ve ever been in my entire life and I never want to be here again. Also, the back area of my thighs is holding an excessive amount of fat/cellulite.

My intention is to flatten out my stomach and to reset my diet so that I can get back on track with healthy eating. I typically do all or nothing, but hopefully this time I can learn some moderation. Bad food tastes so good though and it’s so cheap and easy.

I’m using organic limes instead of lemons because they are alkaline. Also using Celtic Salt, Organic Dark and Very Strong Maple Syrup, and organic cayenne pepper. I’m also blending my limes and straining out the juice for optimal benefits. Limes aren’t cheap. I believe I spent $18 on a 5–6 day supply. I’m almost 100% sure that I won’t be having more than 6 cups per day. This puts me at about 744 calories for the 10-day cleanse.

Today was easy until I got to 6 pm. I hadn’t reached my 6 cup requirement for today, so I had to down 2 cups at the same time. This time was different from before. I was pretty much gagging trying to swallow the lemonade. Next time, I don’t think I’ll stir in the cayenne. I’ll just add it on top. Hopefully that doesn’t mess anything up because otherwise I was enjoying the lemonade.

Earlier today I used 10 ounces of water, but this afternoon, I did 8 ounces and that was no beuno.

I also have a little bit of a headache. I went out shopping today. I’ll need 2.5 more bottles of 16 oz. maple syrup to get me through the 10 days.

I’m already thinking about what I’m going to eat on day 12 or 13, a vegetable soup sounds nice. I know I have to drink fresh orange juice all day on day 11 and 12.

I don’t have any crazy cravings and I’m not thinking about food too much. Trying to keep myself busy with other things and just taking it easy for the next 9 days!

Yay! Day 1 down, 9 to go!
